STILLWATER – Yes, the game was strangely like the final regular season loss on Saturday at BYU as Oklahoma State had a big dunk in the first half and was competitive going into the halftime dressing room only to come out and get blitzed at the start of the second half. UCF opened the second half with a 13-0 run to boost the lead from four points to 17 points on the way to a 77-62 win. BYU, a much better offensive team, did the same thing with a 13-0 run on Saturday.

Put facilities on the back burner for now once the stadium work is done. Funnel most money to football NIL and some to basketball NIL ("some" would still be more than the current allocation).

And please, PLEASE fire Boynton. Can't stomach another season of garbage basketball.

but, but, but.... we actually win championships in the other sports.

funny thing is, the coaches that have facilities say NIL first, the coaches that don't have new facilities say facilities first.

go figure

of course it takes both, but he said screw the other sports and all proposed facilities and give all the money to football and basketball NIL.

Our basketball program is 2-3 years away from being a top 4-8 team in the conference. The players are young, but they don't look like they are being coached in the basics. Hopefully, they will improve provided we can keep them. I'm in favor of getting another coach, but that's not going to happen until Boynton has another year to turn the program around. I'm not optimistic he can do it, but I'll be the first to congratulate him if he has a winning season next year.

we should not be 2-3 years away, we have at least 5 open positions to fill after this season, to add to the youngsters, plus Thompson coming back from injury. (Hicklin, Marsh and Wright are out of eligibility and we have 2 open scholarships already)

Sadly recent history has shown us that most of the kids leave Boynton each year. I will be shocked if we do not lose many of our key players.

2023 - last year we lost Tyreek Smith, Mousse Cisse, Avery Anderson, Woody Newton, Kalib Boone

2022 - we lost Isaac Likekele, Kelan Boone, Donovan Williams, Moncrieffe, Asberry, Rondell Walker

2021 - Cunningham, Chris Harris

2020 - Yor Anei and all the seniors (watters, McGriff etc.)
