Nolan Schubart and Gabe Davis Selected for USA Baseball Training Camp

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State standouts Nolan Schubart and Gabe Davis have been invited to the 2024 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp. Schubart and Davis are among a group of 56 of the premier non-draft eligible players who will attend the training camp in Cary, North Carolina, and compete in a two-game Stars vs. Stripes intrasquad series on June 26 and 27.
USA Baseball will name the final Collegiate National Team-inclusive of an International Friendship Series roster and a Summer League Tour roster following training camp on June 29.
The International Friendship Series roster will face Chinese Taipei in a five-game series in North Carolina, while an additional 28-man roster will compete in the Summer League Tour against select teams from the Appalachian League and the Coastal Plain League. On July 4, the two U.S. Collegiate National Teams will take on each other in Fayetteville, N.C.
Both Schubart and Davis are coming off impressive sophomore seasons with the Cowboys.
Schubart posted a team-high .370 batting average and also led the Pokes with 23 home runs and 68 RBIs despite missing 12 games with an injury.
An All-Big 12 Second Team outfielder, Schubart recorded an .838 slugging percentage, the sixth highest in a season in program history.I n two seasons in Stillwater, Schubart owns a .352 batting average to go along with 30 doubles, 40 homers and 142 RBIs in 110 games.
Davis made 18 appearances for the Cowboys in 2024, including five starts, and was 2-4 with a team-high three saves and a 4.17 ERA. He racked up 55 strikeouts in 45 1/3 innings, including a career-high eight in an NCAA Regional outing against Florida. In 40 career games in an OSU uniform, Davis has recorded three wins and four saves while striking out 95 in 70 1/3 innings.
