STILLWATER – I finally sat down and took all my notes and went through every team’s schedule. The only way to truly do your best work and make picks on a season is work it week-by-week, the entire schedule. A season is an entity unto itself. The next game is impacted by the last game. An open week, a bye, can be just the medicine to help a team win a game you don’t think they can or should. I took notes from several sources so as to compare and match up strengths vs.

You know much more about the other teams in the league than I'd ever hope to. But i agree most people seem to think the B12 has some good teams that will fight it out (4-6 teams). But, and this is where national pundits live, we have no really good teams/programs. Those programs who've lived in the B12 for awhile (like us) are use to being overlooked nationally. And rightly so. No teams in the B12 are bellcows. Unfortunately, none are likely to break into that category anytime soon.

bleh.... a 12-0 Cowboy team will garner all the national media attention that you'll ever need.

(I suppose 13-0, or even 12-1 with a B12 championship)

We don't need any other bell cow to save the conference other than ourselves.

Our B12 relevance is up to ourselves

KU is going to surprise people if Daniels stays healthy. They have Seniors all over OL/DL and secondary. On top of having good RB and WR group. I expect them to be at top 3 of big 12 if they stay healthy. Luckily we don't play them. I also think BU will be top half this year. Sneaky underdog.

KSU is really overrated with new OC, QB, OL.

We will see if they suffer the Knowles effect like we did in 2022! They lost ONE OF THE BEST OFFENSIVE COORDINATORS IN THE COUNTRY TO PENN STATE!!! Our head coach called him an offensive genius in the ranks of a Monken!!! He was replaced by a guy Dave Aranda at Baylor FIRED last December!!!

Their OC loss is huge for sure. But they might feel it only next season. Since their whole squad is upperclassmen, they will for sure ball out. But new OC plays can be tricky if they change a lot of things for sure.

Believe me that no one will factor the value of the addition of new defensive line coach Paul Randolph for the defense and for defensive coordinator Bryan Nardo. I promise that coaching move will make a difference with the defense this season and has already made a difference in recruiting.

I think you're right. Gundy made a tough decision that is going to bear fruit. I think Randolph is one of those really good coaches that has always had to be on the outside looking in regarding staff/program. Now in a solid program he's going to shine.

Offense hasn't been their problem, with or without Daniels.
