Blackmon was suspended for one game back in 2010 when he got a DUI. I wonder if Gordon will get a similar suspension or if he'll work off his punishment over the offseason?

The officer made the stop and then observed that Gordon appeared to smell like alcohol. The officer was able to search the vehicle and found two open bottles of alcohol.

Gordon is on virtually every preseason All-American list for this upcoming season. Last season he was a first-team All-American and led the NCAA Division I FBS in rushing with 1,732-yards and 20 touchdowns. He was the 2023 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year (Coaches & AP), he finished in seventh-place for the Heisman Trophy. and along with the Doak Walker he won the 2023 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award winner.
He has never taken a misstep until now, but there will be some punishment.
Head coach Mike Gundy had no comment on the situation, but had been in contact with Gordon II and said he would be making thoughtful consideration to his decision on what to do including whether Gordon II would go with Gundy and his teammates quarterback Alan Bowman, linebacker Nick Martin and linebacker Collin Oliver to the Big 12 Football Media Days in Las Vegas, Nev.
