Long term fans know Gundy is not a fan of turnovers. We recall his Pat Jones story of what put him into a starting role as a freshman and the Big XII record Gundy held for passing attempts without an interception. Most of us probably think this qb room has 2 or 3 guys not named Bowman who would have been welcome starters in the last 60 years. So based on all that and Bowman's 15/14 touchdown to interception ratio, it's obvious Gundy and Rattay see something about Bowman that has him so clearly in the qb driver's seat. Perhaps it's his freshman performance at Tech and the hope his freshman, conference record magic strikes again. Whatever it is that makes Gundy fairly comfortable with 15/14, (but still the returning passing yards leader in Big XII), here's hoping AB knocks it out of the park this season.

Bowman and Gordon Better Together and Better Now Than Ever
STILLWATER – Alan Bowman had a sharp day throwing the football as the Cowboys went through a three-hour practice that may be the last really strenuous camp-type practice. It was hot and the team went through a lot of snaps, some vs. scout teams and some versus each other. The defense played well overall too on Friday. Running back Ollie Gordon II had a good day with limited reps. It is those two, Gordon Ii and Bowman that are the centerpiece of this piece.
