Nolan McLean Shines In AAA Debut With Syracuse Mets
STILLWATER – New York Mets fans are getting their first real taste of former Oklahoma State start, Nolan McLean, as he shined in his AAA debut with the Syracuse Mets.
McLean went seven innings, giving up seven hits with seven strikeouts and no walks in 78 pitches, 57 of which were thrown for strikes.
Here’s the statistical breakdown of McLean’s AAA debut.
Just called up to AAA Syracuse, McLean went 3-1 with the Mets’ AA team, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, with a 1.37 ERA in five starts. He gave up 20 hits with just four earned runs with 30 strikeouts and 12 walks in 26.1 innings pitched. He allowed just a .213 batting average.
He keeps it up like this, it won’t be too long before we see McLean make his Major League debut.
