STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State Cowboys baseball team makes their way home from a runner-up finish in the Athens Regional and a hard fought 3-2 loss to finish the season on Sunday night to No. 2 seed Duke. For the Cowboys on Sunday, a somewhat surprising step-it-up performance from freshman pitcher Noah Wech was a huge part of the chance the Pokes had to win at Georgia.

We've let go coaches with teams that have performed better (i.e., Greg Robertson).

C'mon. He is not going anywhere. Have you been around the last several years? That comment is laughable at best.

It is laughable but it's also the state of our fan base now. He's held to a higher standard than most of our head coaches, it seems. Conference titles get him way less leeway than anyone else.

I can't think of many coaches that took us to 12 straight post seasons that were let go.

It just doesn't happen.
