Nolan McLean Enters MLB Top 100 Prospects List
STILLWATER – Former Oklahoma State standout Nolan McLean is one of the top prospects in baseball. It was announced on Monday McLean has entered the Top 100 Prospects list at No. 100 following Kumar Rocker getting called up to the Texas Rangers.
In seven games with the Syracuse Mets, the Triple-A team for the New York Mets, McLean has a 2.56 ERA in 38.2 innings. He’s allowed 27 hits with 35 strikeouts with 17 walks and hitters have a combined average of .193.
In 12 games this year, including five with the Double-A team Binghamton, McLean has a 2.08 ERA with 65 strikeouts and 29 walks, with hitters combining for a .201 batting average.
It might not be for a while, and hopefully the Mets don’t rush things, but it’s becoming more and more clear that McLean will be the next Cowboy to play in the Majors.
