STILLWATER – We kind of forget to get these up earlier, but many of the former Oklahoma State Cowboys now playing in the NFL are either packing for training camp or they are already there. That goes for a few rookies.

Brandon Todd - Carolina Panthers
Chuba Hubbard

One former Cowboys that will be watched and is on the verge of being an All Pro is running back Chuba Hubbard at Carolina. Hubbard is coming off a breakout year with 1,195-yards and 10 touchdowns. Hubbard is also a good receiver that had 43 receptions in 2024. He has signed his second NFL contract and is cemented in the NFL mindset. Besides being a centerpiece for the Panthers, he is a runner that other teams eye to trade for and get a boost in their run game.

Hubbard will get mostly non contact work in training camp and very little action in preseason games as he is proven and way too valuable to risk this time of year.

Below are training camp information and first preseason games for all Cowboys currently in the NFL. Former Poke corner Tre Flowers was just added as he signed free agent with the Chicago Bears. Also, you’ll notice kicker Alex Hale has been deleed from the list, the Packers cut him on the veteran report day.

There is talk already less than a week into training camp that Nick Martin could be starting at linebacker for the Forty-Niners this season. He has made a strong impression.

Baltimore Ravens - NFL
Tylan Wallace

We are really excited about Tylan Wallace, who is now working under his second NFL contract, the one that gets you a salary boost. Wallace has made himself invaluable to the Raven and even a starter in many games that gets a lot of reps in a crowded and very talented receiver corps. Wallace has proven himself as a good receiver, but with running backs like Derrick Henry and fellow former Cowboys Justice Hill and the mobile Lamar Jackson at quarterback; Wallace plays a lot because he is a superior blocker as a receiver.

Talking to Wallace this summer, he was elated to get his second contract and told me that if he could, he would like to play his entire career in Baltimore.
