Oklahoma State Makes Cut for Arkansas 2027 Defensive Lineman Eli Thornton

STILLWATER – Just a few weeks after being on campus for an unofficial visit, 2027 Valley View defensive lineman Eli Thornton put Oklahoma State in his top six schools list. He also scheduled his commitment date for July 4. 

Along with Oklahoma State, Thornton has Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas State, Wisconsin and Vanderbilt. 

It was originally just five schools, but he added Illinois after an unofficial visit.

Thornton, who’s out of Jonesboro, AR, checks in at 6-3, 315 pounds, and holds more than 10 offers up this point in his recruiting cycle. He also has official visits scheduled to Wisconsin May 29, Oklahoma State June 4, Kansas State June 12, Arkansas June 19. 

This past season as a junior, Thornton recorded 24 total tackles, 18 tackles for loss, four sacks and more than 25 quarterback pressures.
