STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has honored the military for years thanks to Folds of Honor. Well, Cowboy baseball is getting into the mix this weekend as they’ll wear special uniforms on Saturday against Baylor.
Here’s what Oklahoma State and Folds of Honor had to say about the uniforms.
“Oklahoma State Cowboy Baseball is proud to partner with Folds of Honor and Nike with our new Salute to Service uniform.
The Salute to Service uniform will be worn bu the Cowboys during the Salute to Service game at O’Brate Stadium on March 21, 2026.
“Founded by Lt. Col. Dan Rooney of the Oklahoma Air National Fuard, Folds of Honor has been meeting sacrifice with hope since 2007. Folds of Honor provides life-changing schlarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military.”
The uniform will feature the Folds of Honor emblem, and the Oklahoma State bat will feature the Stars and Stripes design. And instead of the iconic Oklahoma State orange, the uniforms are Fighting Falcon Gray, which is the color of the F-16 flown by Lt. Col. Rooney in Iraq.
I’ve been in the camp that the Cowboys have the best uniforms in all of college baseball. Heck, they’re better than most minor league uniforms and maybe even a few MLB teams. Just add these Folds of Honor uniforms into the mix because these are absolutely iconic.
