MANHATTAN, Kan. – Oklahoma State rallied for a 12-10 win over Kansas State in 13 innings in Sunday's series finale at Tointon Family Stadium.

With the win, the Cowboys improved to 22-14 overall and 7-8 in Big 12 play, while K-State fell to 23-13 and 7-7 in the league.

Colin Brueggemann delivered a go-ahead home run with two outs in the 13th, and TP Wentworth added an RBI single to provide an insurance run in the inning.

Alex Conover led OSU at the plate in the contest, going 4-for-7 with two home runs and three RBIs, while Garrett Shull also homered and drove in three runs.

Parker Jennings, one of seven pitchers used by the Cowboys, earned the first win of his career as he kept K-State off the scoreboard over the final two innings. He struck out one and did not allow a hit.

The Cowboys jumped on K-State starter Cohen Feser early. For the second-straight day, Conover led off the game with a home run, his third of the season.

Following a single by Brock Thompson and a Kollin Ritchie double, Aidan Meola made the score 2-0 with an RBI groundout. And the Pokes weren't done as an RBI single by Brueggemann brought home the third run before Evan Saunders made it 4-0 with a double into the left-center field gap.

The scoring continued in the second inning as Conover once again led off the frame with a homer to push the lead to five.

K-State erased OSU's lead in the bottom of the frame against starter Bryce LeBlanc. After a leadoff single and back-to-back walks loaded the bases with no outs, a double made the score 5-2 before a single and walk brought home two more runs. The Wildcats tied the score on a sacrifice fly, then took a 6-5 lead on a single.

The Cowboys battled back for a run in the third as Conover ripped a two-out RBI single to left-center to plate Shull and make the score 6-6.

After a pair of scoreless innings for both teams, OSU went back on top in the sixth. The Pokes loaded the bases with one out before Campbell Smithwick brought home the go-ahead run with a groundout.

In the seventh, K-State got a leadoff double and a single to put runners on the corners with no outs. Up next, a single by Grant Gallagher knotted the score at 7-7.

The Wildcats would then load the bases and retake the lead on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Cadyn Karl.

K-State added another run in the eighth, getting a leadoff homer from Nick English to take a 9-7 advantage.

Down to its final three outs, OSU got consecutive hits from Meola and Smithwick to open the ninth and put a pair of runners in scoring position. After a line out and strikeout, Shull fell behind in the count 0-2 before smashing a three-run, go-ahead homer to right field.

Once again, the Wildcats answered, getting a leadoff double and sac bunt before a sacrifice fly tied the score at 10-10.

The Cowboys return to action Tuesday when they travel to Tulsa to take on Bedlam rival Oklahoma at ONEOK Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
