Oklahoma State’s 2026 season came to an end in the NCAA Lincoln Super Regional as they lost to Nebraska 9-1 in five innings.

With the loss, they finished the season 41-17 overall and 16-8 in Big 12 play.

“We just ran out of gas,” Kenny Gasjewski said.” I can just honestly say I think Ruby [Meylan’s] out of gas. We rode her to get here and I’m thankful for all she poured into this place. I’m thankful for (Audrey Schneidmiller and Lexi McDonald), these are two of my favorite kids I’ll be talking about for a long time.”

Pitcher Ruby Meylan earned the loss as she went just over four innings, allowing six runs, all of them earned, on seven hits across 24 batters faced. She recorded two strikeouts and two walks.

RyLee Crandall came on in relief in the fifth inning, giving up three earned runs and two hits.

Offensively as a team, the Cowgirls combined for three hits, with Lexi McDonald, Amanda Hasler and Audrey Schneidmiller all recording one hit apiece. They collectively struck out nine times.

The Pokes’ lone run of the game came on a single by McDonald, scoring Rosie Davis.
