STILLWATER – I saw the numbers yesterday and I guess that I refused to believe the black and white, but after close to 24 hours to soak in now I believe it. The Big 12 appears to be getting screwed over. The total pot starting in 2026 when the extended contract between the College Football Playoff and ESPN kicks in will be approximately $1.3 billion per year. The next two years the number balloons but it grows expodentially in 2026.

there was never any doubt, I just can't believe the other conferences went along with it..... why?

This agreement is absolutely revolting.

So is there a clause to adjust conference $ based on realignment? I'm thinking if FSU and Clemson follow through and leave the ACC, it will be clearly a lesser conference than the Big 12.

That's a given. But we need to grab what we can for now and solidify us as the first conference out and go from there. The fact that we aren't to big bully conference doesn't mean we throw up our hands and give up.

so you think trading places at the bottom is being competitive, or will get us any closer to the megabuck dollars of the big2?

it doesn't matter is you throw your hands up or you shake your fist in the air, last is last, broke is broke.
