• Oklahoma State forced three turnovers in the first half against Utah, marking the first time OSU forced three turnovers in the first half since Nov. 12, 2022, against Iowa State. The last time Utah allowed three turnovers in the first half was Nov. 11, 2017, against Washington State. 

• Trey Rucker nabbed the fifth interception of his career - and his first of the season - with his first-quarter interception off Utah quarterback Isaac Wilson. Rucker added his second interception of the game late in the first half, becoming the first Cowboy with two interceptions in a half since Cameron Epps on Oct. 6, 2023, against Kansas State. 

• The Cowboys’ defense has not allowed a score on the opponent's game-opening drive through the first four games of the season. This marks the first time since 2020 the Cowboys’ defense has accomplished that feat. 

• The Cowboys’ defense forced three turnovers against the Utes. The last time Utah allowed three turnovers in a game was Nov. 19, 2022, against Oregon.

• With Kendal Daniels’ first-quarter sack, he’s already matched his season-high for sacks in just four games. Daniels has two sacks so far this season. 

• The Cowboys’ defense tallied two sacks in the first quarter. Entering today’s contest, Utah had only given up four sacks this season.

• Oklahoma State forced two fumbles off of Utah in the first half, which marks the first fumbles lost this season by Utah. 

• Cam Smith forced the first fumble of his career with his second-quarter hit on Utah running back Micah Bernard. 

• The Cowboys’ offensive line has allowed only one sack in the last five games, dating back to last season.
