Exclusive:Oklahoma State Gets First Transfer Portal Pickup in Tulsa Center Kasen Carpenter

STILLWATER – For Tulsa starting center, Kasen Carpenter, the dream of being an Oklahoma State Cowboy picked up a little speed with the end of the Golden Hurricane season following the firing of Tulsa head coach Kevin Wilson. The portal was open for him. He went in, has signed his papers and he is officially an Oklahoma State Cowboy.

“Yes, Tulsa firing Coach Wilson opened this up for me a week early,” Carpenter told me over the phone on Monday evening.
