STILLWATER – We are two weeks into the largest window in the 2025 NCAA Transfer Portal and the window will close on Saturday except for players involved in bowl games that will be played after Saturday as they will get a window to place themselves into the portal. Of course, players have all the time they need to choose a new home and come out of the portal. There will be a lot more take place, but at this time, you can be sure the anticipated has taken place.

Interesting breakdown Robert, I still say you get a much better read after the Spring Sessions!

Tortilla Tossers appear to be killing it in the portal. They are throwing around lots of cash. I still don't think they will be all that good next year.

our position list is interesting, almost all of our Portal transfers-ins are on the O or D lines (I'm counting TEs as OLine, since they could be blocking at least half the time)

I would like to see a position list like that which showed totals that includes all of our new players, including the HS kids.

Nothing like an annual "our recruits/players are better than others article" by RA. This time we will not fall for this like your assessments last year. We will wait till we see players on the field.

I don't think that "we" ever did that, you might want to speak for yourself.

anyway.. I don't think RA said our recruits are better, the article seems to refer mostly to how much recruits helped improve the team, when compared to losses. Teams that did not need much improvement are generally at the bottom of that list. That's the way I read it, anyway.

Whatever he says in terms of grading/prediction, is what I'm referring to. After predicting pokes to make CCG in 2024 (To win it even), I am not ready to trust his grades as much as other things such as his insider information.

After all, we were one of the favorites among most pundits to make the CCG, so winning it, was not much of a stretch.

it's just more information to consider.

All of the sports books picked us to do much, much better than our final results.

It's an OPINION!!! everybody has one but most don't take it as any kind of gospel!!!

I agree but RA has the insider access that no one else got at OSU. On top of that, he came back with 2024 post mortem article that he guessed some of the issues by spring practice. So his CCG winning opinion was inspite of him seeing all those issues at spring camp. His opinions stopped being objective.

I've gotta heavy lean towards garbage. No, not the opinions expressed or any particular team or player. No, the garbage reflected in this article is the state of college football. Definitely losing interest, perhaps irretrievably.
