STILLWATER – Defending NCAA Champion at 157 pounds Landon Robideau and freshman heavyweight Dreshaun Ross are off next week to the U20 World Championships, but we’re already talking the upcoming college season. On Aug. 12 Oklahoma State finished their schedule as fas as opponents by naming the non conference slate of schools they will face. Dates and time will be announced later.

At home Oklahoma State will host Drexel and Nebraska. They will wrestle on the road at Iowa and at Stanford.

Gallagher-Iba Arena had huge crowds for wrestling last season including this sellout vs. Iowa.

Even prior to these non conference foes being announced and before the conference released home and away Big 12 foes, Oklahoma State announced they had sold out the season in reserve seats.

“It’s great and it shows the excitement of our program,” Taylor said to the media on Tuesday. “To be in a place where people love wrestling and you are selling stuff out before the season starts is special. This is an exciting team to watch wrestle. I cherish these home matches.

“We have some new things that we are going to add to our production this year that will take it up a step,” Taylor added. “We need to keep pushing it.”

Fans can still buy season tickets in general admission sections or Club 34, a floor level, standing room only area located on the north side of Gallagher-Iba Arena that provides cocktail tables for viewing, complimentary snacks and an exclusive experience during team runouts.

We already knew that Oklahoma State will host Nebraska in a non conference showdown at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Friday, Nov. 13. That is the night before the football game with the Cowboys hosting Texas Tech. We also know through Arizona State that the Cowboys will wrestle the Sun Devils on Friday, Nov. 20. That is the night before OSU plays football at Arizona State.

The home duals in the Big 12 include Missouri, West Virginia, Wyoming, and Utah Valley. The road Big 12 matches include, previous mentioned Arizona State and Oklahoma, Iowa State, and Northern Iowa.

The schedule will also feature the second Paycom National Duals Invitational at the BOK Center in Tulsa. The event moved later on the calendar this season to Dec. 12-13. Teams included along with Oklahoma State are Ohio State, Minnesota, Missouri, Virginia Tech, Arizona State, Rutgers, Iowa State, Little Rock, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Wyoming, and Oklahoma. North Carolina, NC State, and Maryland will also be there.
