Another good sign is that the Gundy naysayers crowd (he's reached his peak, he plays OU scared, he will never get us to the Big XII Championship) have at least quieted down for a while. I think his continuous winning and seemingly ever improving recruiting are starting to be noticed by OSU fans. The NFL roster players are the best measure IMO of the recruiting and development processes at OSU. And I think in the last five years, we're starting to see the fruits of this coaching staff's efforts. Forget "draft" measures, look at "made an NFL roster or reserve squad." We're seeing running backs, wide receivers, linebackers and db's and now a few linemen breaking through. That will be a great sign of stability ATB when one or two linemen get in every year.
