Eric Dailey Jr., a four-star prospect out of IMG Academy took to Twitter to make the announcement on Tuesday.

Dailey Jr. is a 6-8, 220-pound power forward out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. He’s currently listed as the No. 42 overall prospect in the country, according to the ESPN 100. He currently holds offers from Oklahoma State, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky, Miami, Memphis and TCU, Texas and Texas A&M, among others.

Dailey Jr. put the Pokes in his top-eight schools list back in mid-September, along with Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, Memphis, Michigan, TCU and Texas A&M. He was originally in the 2022 class before he reclassified to the 2023 class this spring.

He played for the Georgia Stars on the Nike EYBL circuit this summer, averaging 13.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game, while shooting 44% from the field.

He also played on USA Basketball’s U18 squad this summer for the 2022 FIBA U18 Americas Championship and was a teammate of current Oklahoma State commit, Brandon Garrison, an event in which USA took home the gold. Dailey Jr. scored nine points in the finals on 43% shooting from the field, with four rebounds and two assists.

Throughout the event, he averaged 9.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in six games.

The Cowboys currently hold four commits in the 2023 cycle, forward/center Brandon Garrison, forward Justin McBride, combo guard Jamyron Keller and guard/forward Connor Dow.
