STILLWATER – The search for more offensive linemen in the 2022 class continues as Charlie Dickey has extended an offer to Quinton Harris out Arlington, TX.
Harris is a 6-8, 285-pound prospect out of Juan Seguin HS in Arlington, TX. He’s a three-star prospect in the 2022 class, and is currently committed to SMU. According to 247Sports, he currently holds three offers and is the No. 193 overall prospect out of Texas.
While the Cougars didn’t run the ball a whole lot in the 2020 season, Harris did his job well in helping open up running lanes. He’s still raw and needs to bulk up quite a bit for his size and frame, but he’s got solid potential. He’s got long arms, which allow him to get out in front of defenders, and his size helps drive them into the next level. In fact, when watching his Hudl highlights below, you’ll see most of the guys he goes up against end up on the ground.
One of his strengths is pass blocking as quarterback Xavier Gordon was successful during last season. In just five games, he completed 65% of his passes for 1,150 yards and 13 touchdowns to just one interception.
This isn’t the last offer on the offensive line you’ll see for OSU and Charlie Dickey, as you can expect to see multiple coming out over the next week or so.
Oklahoma State currently has one offensive line commit in the 2022 class, Austin Kawecki out of Frisco (TX) Lebanon Trail.
