Pokes Report Podcast No. 19: Offseason Workouts and Recruiting Talk
STILLWATER – It’s been a while, but the Pokes Report gang is back with another episode of the Pokes Report Podcast!
We dive into a number of things in this episode, including offseason workouts, guys from the 2022 signing class who we think will have the earliest impact in the upcoming football season. I think it was pretty much a consensus that the JUCO signees of LB Xavier Benson, OL Tyrone Webber and DT Seleti Fevaleaki will be the first ones to make that early impact. All three of the JUCO signees were tabbed All-Americans following this past season, with all three making a considerable impact.
We also talk about the potential impact of Ollie Gordon, who is now currently on campus in Stillwater. With Jaylen Warren graduating and Dezmon Jackson transferring to Sam Houston State, Gordon has a chance of cracking the depth chart in 2022 if he doesn’t redshirt.
Along with Gordon, we talk about the returning backs of Dominic Richardson, Jaden Nixon and Zach Middleton and who we think will be taking over as the No. 1 back.
Ryan Breeden also takes a look at Cowboy baseball’s series win over Vanderbilt this past weekend, as well as what you can expect to see from the Pokes this upcoming season.
