Oklahoma State Projected to Host Stillwater Regional

STILLWATER – As we sit just a little over a month remaining left before the Big 12 Baseball tournament and championship at Globe Life Field down in Arlington, TX, D1Baseball released its Field of 64 projections on Wednesday.

As they’re a top 10 team, Oklahoma State is being projected to host the Stillwater Regional as the No. 1 seed in the regional and the No. 4 overall seed in the tournament.

The regional will feature some familiar teams to the Pokes, who’s being projected to start the tournament against Oral Roberts, who’s set as the No. 4 seed in the regional.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 2 Arizona is being projected against No. 3 Liberty.

TCU is the only other Big 12 team being projected to host a regional, but OU is set to be one of the last teams in and Texas, Texas Tech and West Virginia are being projected into the field.

Oklahoma State is currently sitting atop the Big 12 standings with five weekend series left on the scheduled, four of which are Big 12 series. There are also two midweek games remaining as well. The Cowboys have a 26-11 overall record, 9-3 in the Big 12, and have a huge Big 12 series upcoming this weekend against second place TCU in Stillwater, who’s sitting with a 10-5 Big 12 record. Friday’s game is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and will be on ESPN+.
