Oklahoma State Schedule Set for Softball's Women's College World Series
STILLWATER – What a weekend for the No. 7-seed Oklahoma State Cowgirls as they were the first school to qualify for the 2022 NCAA Women’s College World Series and as the field is set newly extended Cowgirls head coach Kenny Gajewski sees that his team is the highest seed in their bracket (two) and that two of the teams that qualified completely eliminated seeded teams.
On Saturday, the day after the Cowgirls finished off Clemson in the Stillwater Super Regional, Gajewski got a major contract extension and raise as athletic director Chad Weiberg headed off a push by Texas A&M to try to steal away the Cowgirls softball head coach.
