Oklahoma State Lands NC State Transfer Center Isaiah Miranda
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State basketball has landed its fourth player out of the transfer portal with NC State big man, Isaiah Miranda.
Miranda, who took to Instagram Sunday morning to make the announcement, commits to the Pokes following an official visit this past weekend.
Checking in at 7-0, 200 pounds, Miranda had declared for the NBA Draft and was in the transfer portal up until this past Wednesday before withdrawing his name before the deadline to remain in.
Miranda, who was originally a part of the 2023 signing class, graduated early this past December and joined NC State at midseason. However, he entered the transfer portal back on May 9 after not having played a single minute during the spring semester.
He has a 7-foot-4 wingspan, as well as a 9-foot-4 standing reach, which gives Mike Boynton and Co. a huge boost in the signing class, especially with the loss of both Kalib Boone and Moussa Cisse to the transfer portal. Miranda was a top-50 national prospect in the 2023 class, also further boosting the Pokes’ signing class.
With the addition, the Cowboys stay at the No. 9 spot in the country in the ’23 signing class.
Boynton and Co. signed five freshmen: F/C Brandon Garrison, wing Eric Dailey Jr., CG Jamyron Keller, G/F Justin McBride and G/F Connor Dow. They’ve also signed transfer guards Javon Small (East Carolina), Jarius Hicklen (North Florida) and big man Mike Marsh (Jacksonville).
