Oklahoma State Baseball Pledges Tabbed Dallas Morning News All-Area
STILLWATER – While the season is over for Oklahoma State baseball, there’s still news to report on as the Pokes had a couple of commits/signees out of the DFW earn All-Area nods from the Dallas Morning News.
A junior this past season, Rockwall-Heath first baseman, and OSU commit, Caleb Hoover, made the list as a first team infielder. He hit .323, while driving in 29 runs, a team-high. He was also one of Hawks’ top pitchers as he finished the season with a 2.00 ERA, recording 58 strikeouts in 56 innings.
2023 signee Kyle Bade was tabbed a second team pitcher following his senior season in which he recorded an impressive 1.07 ERA with 81 strikeouts in just 59 innings pitched. This is a great addition for the Cowboys’ future bullpen/rotation.
The Cowboys finished the 2023 season with a share of the regular season Big 12 title with a 41-20 overall record and 15-9 in Big 12 play. Unfortunately, their season ended abruptly with two-straight losses in the Stillwater Regional.
