The part I don't understand is, you hire Bryan Nardo to run the 3-3-5 and two guys get injured (Oliver isn't even a LB) and then you have to completely switch to the 4-2-5 because you don't have enough LBs? I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert on X's and O's, but isn't that a bit extreme to have to completely abandon a scheme you hired a DC to run because of two injuries?

we need to pay whatever we need to pay for some top corners, and then get back to a 4-3 front.

It is always easy to tell in the pokesreport comment section who has played D1 football and who hasn't.

Robert is guilty of overestimating the talent on the team. Pumping Kirkland every week, and Clay not being as good as was advertised. The online was a complete miss. Most of them failed to live up to the hype.

It should also be easy to tell that if your results suck at work AND you're treating people like crap and telling them to stop *****ing about those poor results, people generally are going to be unhappy about that.

I would think a man smart enough to earn nearly $8M would understand that.

I hate cancel culture and I want nothing more than for Mike Gundy to show a little humility and not have to be forced to make whatever changes are necessary for the program to improve. he's an excellent coach when he has the right people around him, as is any good HC. I also don't want him to continue down this road, digging his heels in and end up with a Pat Jones situation where there's bitterness on both sides and we end up back looking like 1990s OSU after his 20 years of unprecedented success. that's why it's incredibly frustrating to watch. I WANT Mike Gundy to leave a great legacy and continue to have a great relationship that's mutually beneficial to him and the university.

The PWAP President said it perfectly today in the Tulsa World. It makes no sense at all to alienate the donors and fanbase. It's cutting off your nose to spite your face.

All my negativity is based on the fact that I don't think Mike wants or cares to change, but I would absolutely love to be proven wrong.

and, for the record, I would place more faith in people knowing to ignore silly things like that, and keep on the course to greatness. The PWAP President is relatively new, and has a few who claim to be bigshots in his ear.
