STILLWATER – In what appears to be a corresponding move with the latest commitment for Oklahoma State baseball, utility player Beau Sylvester has entered his name into the transfer portal.

This moves comes just a few days after Josh Holliday and Co. landed Ole Miss transfer catcher, Campbell Smithwick.

Sylvester, who came to Stillwater from Kailua, Hawaii, and has spent the past three seasons with the Pokes. After missed nearly the entire 2024 season with a knee injury, Sylvester came back and played in just 23 games this past season, starting in 16. He finished with a .266 batting average with 17 hits across 64 at-bats. He had 15 strikeouts and five walks with four doubles and two home runs.

On the defensive side, Sylvester recorded a .991 fielding percentage with one error.
