STILLWATER – The 2025 season for Oklahoma State was tumultuous at best, resulting in Mike Gundy being fired late September and Eric Morris hired from North Texas following the season.
Several players entered the transfer portal during the 30-day window after Gundy was fired, and now players are starting to enter with Morris and his staff evaluating the roster.
OSU officially announced the hiring of general manager Raj Murti and chief of staff Rolando Surita on Thursday afternoon. Surita is now in charge of recruiting and Murti is overseeing the roster. Surita has worked for Morris for the past eight seasons and Murti will be entering his third under Morris.
Those three coaches, with help from the hired coaches who will be arriving in Stillwater after the North Texas bowl game on Dec. 27, continue to evaluate the roster.
Pokes Report has learned there are only 30 remaining names from the existing roster that are still up on the active roster board in the team staff room. So, with this being ever-changing, we’ll be sure and update our list.
The new transfer portal window is set to open on January 2 and run through January 16.
