Watch: Mike Boynton Discusses Upcoming K-State Game and Three-Game Losing Streak
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State head coach Mike Boynton met with the media on Thursday to discuss the upcoming two-game home stand and the current three-game losing streak.
It’s been a rough go of it for the Cowboys as they’ve lost three-straight games, Kansas (87-76), TCU (100-75) and West Virginia (85-67).
The Cowboys are currently sitting at 16-12 overall, 7-8 in Big 12 play and will not only be looking to snap the three-game win streak this weekend as they host No. 14 Kansas State, but it would give the Pokes an important eighth win in conference play. While it doesn’t absolutely guarantee a berth in the NCAA tournament, it keeps the Pokes squarely in the mix come Selection Sunday.
Tipoff for Saturday’s game is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPNU.
