STILLWATER – Looks like Oklahoma State baseball  get a little extra time off before they host Oral Roberts on Tuesday, April 13. The series set to take place this weekend with Central Arkansas has been cancelled due to COVID-19 issues within the UCA program, according to a release.

Josh Holliday and Co. are actively looking for games and opponents so they can get some action in this weekend.

The Cowboys, who are 18-7-1 on the season, 6-3 in conference play, are fresh off a 2-1 series win over West Virginia. Those two wins include a 7-2 win on Friday and an absolute beatdown on Saturday, 21-11, that ended with an eight inning run rule.

Several Cowboys had multiple RBIs in the third game against the Mountaineers, including five from Hueston Morrill, four apiece for Christian Encarnacion-Strand and Carson McCusker and three for Cade Cabbiness. Both McCusker and Morrill went yard once.

The Pokes beat ORU 5-0 earlier in the season as they snapped a nine-game losing streak at Johnson Stadium in Tulsa, a losing streak that dated back to 1995.

The game is set to start at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13 at O’Brate Stadium in Stillwater, OK.
