STILLWATER – You won’t hear me complaining about the point spread on this one. Yes, I know that Iowa State is a touchdown pick over the unbeaten Cowboys and that is blasphemy by the men that built the pearl out there in the desert. It’s okay, because Las Vegas has been wrong before and if this line stays where it is and Oklahoma State wins then it could be like the win over Kansas State earlier in the season where Las Vegas made some good money.

Brock Purdy is 10-2 in the month of October.
The 2 losses were to OSU (but we knew that)
The 10 wins were against teams with a combined final FBS record of 34-59.
Brock Purdy has 2 October wins against teams with winning records, WVU 2018 and OU 2020.
So, Brock Purdy is 2-2 in October against teams with winning FBS records.

Not the almost unbeatable Brocktober team we've read about in the media.

Vegas was wrong last week about oSu and that streak should continue.
But, the Cowboys seem to do better as the underdog and have something to prove.
I like the fact that we're underdogs going into Ames. That puts a little more pressure on the Swirlybirds.
