Kickoffs Times and TV Designation for Oklahoma State's First Three Games Announced
STILLWATER – The Big 12 Conference and its television partners announced kickoff times for Oklahoma State's first three football games of the 2026 season. The debut of coach Eric Morris, $3.5 million quarterback Drew Mestemaker and potent running back Caleb Hawkins will be Saturday, Sept. 5 at the University of Tulsa’s Chapman Stadium and will be televised on ESPNU at 2:45 p.m. (CT).
The home opener against anticipated top five opponent Oregon will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12 inside Boone Pickens Stadium on ESPN.
The next week on Saturday, Sept. 19, Oklahoma State and Murray State will be on ESPN+ broadcast at 6 p.m.
The first conference game for Oklahoma State will be on Saturday, Sept. 26 at West Virginia. No time on the kickoff but the game will be televised by either FOX or FS1.
Last season Oklahoma State went 1-11 and Mike Gundy was fired after the third game of the season. Television choices were pretty slim. The 69-3 loss at Oregon was on CBS. The conference opener hosting Baylor was on ESPN2. Following that the Cowboys homecoming loss to Cincinnati was on ESPN2 but no other game made it to a major partner like ABC/ESPN or FOX.
This season with 91 new players and over 60 transfer portal arrivals, there is a sincere curiosity about Morris, his staff and the rebuilding of the once proud and consensus top 15 Cowboy football program.
